SILLY GIRL SYNDROME – CASE STUDIES

Last week we studied about SGS. Today we will into the case study of the syndrome depending upon the severity of the extent of pathology from mild to moderate and finally terminal cases.

CASE STUDY - 1 

SUBJECT - Twenty four years old female working in an IT firm.

PRESENTING COMPLAINT- Had fallen for a looser.

HISTORY OF PRESENTING COMPLAINT- The boy started as the crying shoulder when she was first ditched by her boyfriend. His sweet talks and so called unconditional support lured her into his love trap. They went strong for a while till the boy shifted back to his native town. The long distance relationships brings problem with them. The patent problems but the girl held the fort strong to prove the above statement wrong, but was astonished by the sudden change of his tone. He only picked her call when he was melancholic or absorbed in self-loathing. More often leave aside, calling her, he would not answer her calls or message her back, even for months, keeping his girl wondering what went wrong between them and drawing a big question mark to their relationship.

SIGNS- Acne Roscoe (whenever stressed, face filled with pustuler, red eruptions)

SYMPTOMS

-          Confusion

-          Self-talking

-          Melancholy

-          Bruised ego

-          Feeling of insecurity that she screwed up

-          Still after all this, she still considers him the knight in the shining armor.

SCALE OF SEVERITY

Though mild in nature, but recurrence of the attack could worsen the prognosis of the case.

PREVENTION AND TREATMENT

-          Move on with life

-          Set a goal

-          Kicking a looser out of her life

-          Temporarily abstaining for falling again for a while

-          Learning and mastering the game of courtship (for help can refer my courtship series)

PROGNOSIS

Good

CASE STUDY 2

SUBJECT - Thirty six years old married women and mother of two kids.

PRESENTING COMPLAINTS – Married a jerk.

HISTORY OF PRESENTING COMPLAINTS – She belonged to a very rich and influential family, but ended up doing a rookie mistake that girls of age eighteen do. Finally in with the “RICKSHAW VALLA”

[Note = Rickshaw valla is a broad term relating to socially unsuitable match, at same time meaning no offense to actual rickshaw valla]

In this case the man was 10 years elder to her and worked on the meager salary on the post of accountant in her father’s shop. She ran away with the man taking away all her jewellery and married him in the temple. When they were caught, they took the help of cops, claiming to be above legal age to take her decision and marry. All the strings with her patriarchal family were disconnected.  The sunshine in their life existed till they had the girl’s money. After that her life has been hell with frequent abuses and domestic violence.

SIGNS

Stress related early OA changes [osteo- arthritis] of lower back.

SYMPTOMS

-          Self loathing

-          Weeping

-          Feeling of aloneness

-          No backup plan

-          Finding difficult to tolerate low thresh-hold of husband’s ego

SCALE OF SEVEARITY = Oscillate between MODERATE TO SEVEAR

TREATMENT AND MANAGEMENT

-          To have good friends

-          Look for a job to be self dependent

-          Get attach with NGO

-          Hunt out possibilities to reach back to her parents

-          Counseling

PROGNOSIS- Only to prevent progression of pathology.

Case study 3

SUBJECT= Twenty three old female of a very financially compromised family, but by grace of god, got a solid lift in the job market due to strong academic front, in a very high paying job.

PRESENTING COMPLAINT = Trusting a monster

HISTORY OF PRESENTING COMPLAINT =She fell flat lined for a guy in her office who lured her with her sweet talks. He kept on pursuing her to take the relationship to the next level. First she avoided but later on she feared to loose the love of her life, she summed to his demands and lost her V-CARD [virginity] to him. Later on she came to know that the guy was married and he already had played the same game with many girls. She ever took a further step confronting his wife and her all about her dealings. But to her utter surprise, his wife already knew about his mistress and gave damn about them, till he is taking care of her and her kid’s expenses. She even said that only she is entitled as his wife and other women are just like use and throw toilet papers.

SIGN- Served hymen. Running extra shifts to save money for re-construction of hymen,  cosmetic surgery to get her V-Card back.

SYMPTOMATOLOGY

-          Self guilt

-          Self loathing

-          Confusion

-          Anger, frustration and irritation

-          Loss of concentration towards her job

-          Suicidal thoughts

SCALE OF SEVERITY = SEVERE

TREATMENT AND MANAGEMENT

-          Counseling

-          To hold back together

-          Set a goal

-          Revenge by living her life perfectly fine

-          Learning the game of courtship

-          Learning from past mistake and not to fall in vicious circle of Love, Sex and Dhoka.

-          Finding her a Right guy may be through matrimonial services.

PROGNOSIS- Totally dependent on the management of the case. Though a well managed case could give a good life expectancy or if not taken care with cautiousness, it can turn lethal.
